Bomgar Instructions

Bomgar is a software service managed by ITS which allows system administrators to remotely assist users no matter where they are geographically located as long as there’s a stable network connection.

At your appointment time:

- Visit: https://p-bomgar.its.calpoly.edu

- Call CLA Technical Services at 805-756-1252.

- Enter the Session Key provided to you over the phone on the Bomgar Support Portal page. It should look like below. 

- A Bomgar client will be downloaded and you will be walked through its installation and connection to the Bomgar online service.

- Once connected, you will be prompted to allow screen sharing (see below).

- You will then be prompted to allow administrative privileges to be elevated (see below).

At this point, the system administrator assisting you will have full remote administrative control of your workstation.
