Welcome back CLA faculty and staff! General CLA announcements and upcoming speaker and event notifications will be sent to CLA faculty and staff each Monday while classes are in session. Please submit information for inclusion to Rachel Schultz, CLA communications specialist, by 5 p.m. on the Thursday prior, or complete a Promotion Request Form.

Week of Welcome will run through the first two days of classes and end Sunday, Sept. 25.
Kennedy Library Renovations
Kennedy Library went through renovations over the summer, including an expansion of the 24-hour room, the addition of more fishbowl study spaces and more. See the new floorplans, the renovation timeline and the before-and-after image gallery here.

The Graphic Communication Institute (GrCI) at Cal Poly will offer a two-day workshop, “Color Management and Press Optimization,” Aug. 22-23 at Cal Poly.
Presented in English and Spanish, this workshop will provide participants with in-depth knowledge of how color management, quality control and press efficiency are connected.

Some 4,200 students are eligible to graduate in three ceremonies at Cal Poly’s spring commencement Saturday and Sunday, June 11 and 12. Ceremonies will begin at 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday in Spanos Stadium.
