Teach In - May 9, 2024

Eighth Annual Social Justice Teach In - New Date May 9, 2024

May 9, 2024

New schedule coming soon!

We have decided to reschedule this year's Teach In, with the new date of Thursday, May 9, 2024. This includes the Keynote speaker, Raquel Willis, who will be with us in May as well. We have chosen to postpone the Teach In in an effort to think critically about how to best provide educational, dialectic and processing spaces surrounding the many complex issues of the day and ensure this year’s Teach In exemplifies the strength of higher education as a “marketplace of ideas.”

Our responsibility as an institution of higher ed is to lead with education and scholarly discourse, but we also strive to center care and endeavor for our academic pursuits to address the needs for restorative engagement, community gathering, and transformational dialogue as individuals, communities, and our institution as a whole.

We are grateful for the faculty, staff, and students who submitted proposals and are passionate about providing spaces of learning for our community during the event.

We look forward to your participation in the 2024 Teach In.
