Learn By Doing Scholar Award Opportunity

On February 22, the application period opens for 2016 Learn by Doing Scholar Awards. This unique faculty award recognizes work by Cal Poly faculty that goes beyond descriptive examples of Cal Poly’s signature pedagogy, and invites scholarly reflection and inquiry into Learn by Doing practices.

Two awards will be given in 2016: an award of $2000 for completed research; and an award of $1000 for planned and in-progress research. Applications are welcomed from individuals and teams, and are open to tenured, tenure-track, and non-tenure track faculty at Cal Poly.

A committee of tenured faculty representing all colleges will review applications.

The application period will open February 22, 2016, and close at 5 pm PT on March 21, 2016. Awards will be announced by May 2016.
