Russian and German Conversation Tables Now Open

The Russian Conversation Table will be meeting from 12:10 – 1 p.m. at Julian’s Café in Kennedy Library every other Wednesday starting Oct. 5.
The German Conversation Table will be meeting from 12:10 – 1 p.m. at Julian’s Café in Kennedy Library on opposite Wednesdays starting Oct. 12. No

TEDxCalPoly

TEDxCalPoly organizers are looking for interesting and/or interactive student projects for the event on Friday, Oct. 21. In addition to live speakers, the event will include
a student showcase, which offers project exposure, resume building and networking. If you know of any CLA student projects that embody the theme, Plot
Twist, please send your suggestions and contact information to Makenzie Lary at makenzielary@gmail.com.

Former Raiders cheerleader, viral sensation, and MADtv star Anjelah Johnson is coming to Cal Poly with an all-new comedy show.

Hiroki Asai Gallery Exhibit and Lecture

4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6

Advanced Technology Lab (Bldg. 7), Keck Hall

The University Art Gallery will present recently retired VP of Worldwide Marketing Communications for Apple, Hiroki Asai. The gallery will showcase samples of the projects he was in charge of at Apple, including packaging,
retail store graphics, direct marketing and more. A reception in the gallery (Bldg. 34, Rm. 171) will follow Asai’s talk. Asai is a Cal Poly alumnus and on the Dean's Advisory Council.
