CLA Homecoming for the Mind - Student Showcase Application Form

The College of Liberal Arts’ annual Homecoming for the Mind showcases student knowledge, skills and achievements in the liberal arts to CLA alumni, faculty and friends. Whether it's performing on stage, serving in the community, or conducting research, our students exemplify Learn by Doing through the creative expression of culture, values and self, and through the contributions of solving real-world problems. 

Each year, 15-20 students are selected for this important showcase. Past student participation has included musical performances, poetry readings, artwork displays, and senior project research. 

All CLA students are eligible and encouraged to apply online. This includes those students graduating in spring or summer 2014, if able to be on campus for homecoming on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014. 

Applications are due to Associate Dean Penny Bennett by May 19, 2014. Selected students will be notified by June 6, 2014. By applying, students agree to commit approximately 2-3 hours on Saturday, Nov. 1, to discuss and display their work. An itinerary and specific event requirements will be distributed prior to the event.
