College of Liberal Arts Welcomes New Dean, Douglas Epperson

Douglas Epperson, a veteran of liberal arts higher education and current dean at Washington State University, has been named the new dean of the College of Liberal Arts. He will assume his new post Aug. 15.

Epperson will replace Linda H. Halisky who retired after a 28-year career at Cal Poly including the past eight years as dean of the College of Liberal Arts. Halisky will return to teaching in the English Department.
