Students in Anthropology professor Terry L. Jones’ ANT 310-Archaelogical Field School class and a few volunteers work at a site once occupied by Japanese tenant farmers near Diablo Canyon Power Plant. The site was abandoned when the family was taken to an internment camp during WWII.

Academic Day

Each August, hear from the Dean and meet with your departments to kick off the new school year.

Starting with an introductory session for all majors and then separate presentations by department, you will receive important information for the upcoming school year. Language placement tests also happen on academic day.
