Academic Pathways
Across undergraduate majors, minors and graduate programs, students put the liberal arts into practice.
- Undergraduate majors build depth through research, creative work, applied projects and community-based learning.
- Minors help students connect new fields of study to their primary discipline, adding perspective and practical skills.
- Graduate programs deepen that work through advanced scholarship, faculty mentorship and applied inquiry that prepares students to lead, contribute and create.
- Certificates build focused professional skills in writing, language and communication.
The College of Liberal Arts has been incredible for both my education and career. During my second year at Cal Poly, I was taken under the wing of the College of Liberal Arts as a CLA Ambassador, where I was given the platform to share my appreciation and love of my college by giving tours to aspiring students.
I have found my love for sales and I am excited to be joining Salesforce in New York this summer, all thanks to the incredible guidance and support I have received here.
