Cal Poly Music Department to Present Free Open House Recital April 16

The Cal Poly Music Department will present an Open House Student Recital at 2:10 p.m. Saturday, April 16, in the Davidson Music Center (No. 45), Room 218, on campus.

The recital is one of many events scheduled for Cal Poly’s 23rd annual Open House.

Student performers include vocalists Gabriela Crolla, John Riffle, Lauren Hartzog, and Christopher Wall; violinist Mario Ojeda; violists Marisa Romo and Joseph Shanks; bassoonist Emelia Banninger; flutist Kelsey Beisecker; and trombonist Rose Doylemason.

The repertoire will be varied, illustrating different genres and styles. Several of the performers will present works that will also be on their upcoming senior recitals.
