Eighteen (18) units of classes within the Theatre program were designated CBF funded courses:

This elective, high demand, specialized, hands-on course allowed for direct application and interaction of instruction within a very small, capped enrollment size;

  • Four (4) units of TH341 Advanced Acting Studio, Fall Quarter 2013

An elective within the major; being taught by resident artist @ PCPA, Prof. Karin Hendricks

  • Four (4) units of TH341 Advanced Acting Studio: ACTING FOR THE CAMERA, Spring Quarter 2014

An elective within the major; being taught by adjunct Prof. Philip Valle.

Currently an elective within the major;

  • Two (2) units of TH380 Children’s Drama, Winter Quarter 2014

Currently an elective within the major as well as a service course for Liberal Studies students; being taught by adjunct Prof. Philip Valle;

2013/14 Student Committee:

Katharine Epstein, Melissa Frye, CJ Gormley, Brigitte Losey

2014/15 Student Committee elections

The process for electing student committee members will remain consistent: silent nominating ballots for the 14/15 CBF Student Committee will be distributed at the Spring Quarter 2014 mandatory Theatre Arts Major’s Meeting. Once final nominations are solicited, voting ballots will then be distributed to all theatre majors. Students will be asked to vote for four (4) nominees. The top four (4) students will then be notified by email about their elected status on the departmental committee. A programmatic email to all majors will then be generated once there is full confirmation of acceptance by each elected student.
