President Kay Absher is from Irvine, California and is a 3 rd year Social Sciences senior. She is currently in the process of applying to graduate school for a Master's degree in archaeology. Kay's interests include listening to music, dancing around the room for no apparent reason, going downtown on Thursday nights, watching movies, and attending Social Sciences club events. She misses Zoe, her dog back in Irvine, and loves to travel to far away places with family and friends.

Past Presidents:
Nathan Stuckey is from Wildomar , California . He is a 4 th year Social Science senior. This is his second year as president of the club. Nathan hopes to go to graduate school and become a mental health therapist.
His interests include holistic health, sustainability, Thai pants, experiencing culture, ethnic food, poetry, whittling life sized sculptures of David Bowie out of beach wood, listening to Hansen, hiking and traveling. He has traveled within fifteen countries and recently returned from studying abroad in Thailand .
On a more personal note, Nathan is taking statistics Fall Quarter and is most definitely not looking forward to it.
Personal Note:
This is going to be a great year for the club. We have a lot of events planned and a lot of potential to grow. I want to encourage all social science majors, especially the incoming freshman, to get involved. The club is a great place to get to know the people that you'll be taking many of your classes with. It's also a great opportunity to get to know your professors on a personal level.
