Paper #1
An Inconvenient Truth: Its logical, emotional and ethical appeals
Write a personal essay expressing your reactions to this film and the issues it raises.
Your essay should include
- A summary of the film's content and structure--beginning, middle and end.
- A statement of the film's central claim and of the evidence it offers to back the claim.
- A discussion of the intended emotional appeal of the film and its actual effect on you, with an explanation for that effect.
- A description of the character of the speaker, Al Gore, as displayed by the film, and how and why you responded to that character.
Whenever possible, make specific references to places in the film--either chapter or timecode--and support your own claims.
