1. Use Findley-Rothney map 9.2 and Hammond 37 and web-map "The Middle East and North Africa between the Wars" to locate and identify by name the areas in the Middle East taken from the Ottoman Empire after World War I and given to Britain and France as Class A Mandates under the League of Nations. (Read pgs. 200-201 for this information.)
2. Using Findley-Rothney 9.2, label the other named territories in the Middle East and North Africa under British and Italian control.
3. Locate and label Turkey, Iran and Afghanistan.
4. Label the following bodies of water: Seas: Mediterranean, Black, Red, Arabian and Persian Gulf.
