Education

Kevin Clark was born in Manhattan and raised in New Jersey. Having been granted a scholarship in athletics, he entered the University of Florida in 1968 and received his degree in English in 1972. He later earned both his M.A. in creative writing (1979) and his Ph.D. in literature (1986) at UC Davis.
