For my project, I surveyed the English department at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I receive from 26 members of the department. 12 were females, and 14 were males. Of the positions included there were: 3 TA’s/Graduate Instructors, 9 Instructor/Lecturers, 6 Assistant Professors, and 8 Associate Professor/Professors.

The survey included questions based age, gender, and position, among other things. The Faculty was able to give multiple choices on what they preferred to be called because of the many different classroom and social situations.
