Philosophy 230 or Philosophy 231 (Of the two, Philosophy 230 is more relevant to this course than Philosophy 231). Student's who have not satisfied this requirement will not be enrolled.
Informal Prerequisites
It is highly recommended that students enrolling in this course have taken either Philosophy 125 - Critical Thinking (or its equivalent) or Philosophy 225- Symbolic Logic ( or its equivalent). Knowledge of the basic concepts and methods of logic will be assumed.
Computer literacy- (e.g.,word processing, e-mail, and familiarity with the internet) will be assumed. Students lackiing basic computer skills are strongly advised not to enroll.
