We need to emphasize that the purpose of this web site is as a demonstration only of the "Psychology Educational Technology Resources: The Web Wiz Project", and the web resources are protected by copyright.

Demo

Three chapters of the text resources component and all the lecture components are included in this demo. Because it is a demo, not all of the links will be functional, and you may have to hit the "back button" or pull down the "go to" menu to get back to the functional segments of the web resources. This version was developed to be viewed through NETSCAPE 3.0. (The newer versions have a hard time reading older html documents -- especially when the link has an anchor [e.g."#word" at the end of the address] which means that sometimes the entire page won't fully load -- it will load to the anchor point and then stop. If you run into this problem, just delete the #word from the address)There may be some modest variations between the Mac Netscape and the IBM Netscape. These web resources were designed on a Mac.

The text resources were specifically designed to complement Psychology: Themes and Variations, 3rd Edition by Wayne Weiten and published by Brooks/Cole. If you have access to that text, you can better appreciate how the text resources have been interwoven into the students' understanding of psychology from the perspective of the text author.

Evaluation

A summary and tables of some of the findings of in depth student evaluations are included. While data has been collected for all three quarters, only the data for the in depth evaluation of Fall Quarter, 1996 has been analyzed (Alpha Version). In addition, data from three survey questions at the end of the final exam from the Spring Quarter version has been analyzed and is included.

In-depth survey evaluations of Alpha Version, Fall 1996, (n=156)
Final exam survey questions, Spring, 1997 (n=412)
First Exam survey questions with comments, Fall, 1997
