Theorists Chart
Assignment
Prepare a chart of the major theorists studied this quarter.
You will turn in two versions: Version I will cover those
theorists read and studied in the first half of the course and Version
II will cover those theorists read and studied in the second half of
the course. You will get up to 10 points for each version.
Version I will be turned in at the mid-term exam and Version II
will be turned in at the last day of class. No late copies will be accepted. If
you can not take the midterm then turn the first Version
in on the next class day. The purpose of the chart is to help
you
to prepare for the exam and to clarify any misunderstandings of the
theorists.
Example:
| Theorist |
Level |
Main Concepts |
Society |
Books |
| Karl Marx |
Macro-Micro |
Alienation, ... |
Objective |
Das Capital |
If more than one concept has created by the theorists list all of them discussed in the texts and class. If they have written more than one important work, list them.
The Study guide will list the theorists to be included in your
chart.
Version I due:
October 31, 2005
Version II due: Last day of class
