Sociology: Changing Societies in a Diverse Worldis the main text for the course. It will cover the basic concepts, theoretical perspectives, research methods and findings that the student will be expected to know.  It has additional sections on Japan and Mexico which will serve to give the student a comparative perspective and which will be an important part of class presentations and discussion.
