There will be two exams. The exams will include short answer, matching, multiple choice, identification and essay questions. There are study guides for each of the exams which will provide you with a list of study questions. The essay section for the mid-term and final exams will be drawn from these questions. The study guide will also have lists of terms and names of individuals important in the development of Japanese culture which you will be expected to know. Some of these terms are defined for you in the glossary provided, some you will be expected to learn from the readings and class lecture. You can make-up a missed midterm during finals week. A sign-up sheet will be circulated. |
Remember to bring a blue book and scantron sheet to the exams.
Midterm: Thursday, May 7, 2009
Final: Thursday June 11, 2009 10- 1:00 pm.
