Extra Credit: The Cartoon Network has a number of Japanese anime in English in its programming, especially its Adult Swim. Select one series; view 10 episodes (some are shown every night during the week)(you might want to off-air copy them). Write a brief summary of the events in each episode and the main theme of the series. Identify the main characters (physical description, distinguishing characteristics, role in the series) and see if you can identify any of the concepts we have been studying to understanding Japanese society. This may be a little difficult as often the dialog and plot are modified for Western audiences but do the best you can. Up to 5 extra points.
