| Interview:
As you are reading about women's lives in Asia, select an area of interest (such as roles of wife, mother, artist; or family, work, education) and write a series of questions that you can use in an interview with a woman from China, Korea or Japan. Turn in these questions to me and we will discuss them with the goal of creating a list of 10 questions to use in an interview. Then you are to find someone to interview, depending on your topic. You should be concerned about the ability of your interviewee to answer the questions you propose. Write a paper on your interview (do not just hand in the answers to the questions). The paper should include: 1) a section on who you selected and why and the context in which the interview took place; 2) the questions you asked and the answers received; and 3) What you have learned as a result of doing the interview. |
