COLONIALISM
Definition:
a process of resource extraction for the benefit of the group doing the
colonizing. It is the maintenance of political, social, economic
and cultural domination over people by a foreign power for an extended
period. Colonies exist to benefit the colonizer. Political,
social and cultural
colonization are to benefit the economic exploitation of the indigenous
group.
