Alpha Psi Omega is a student-run Theatre Club affiliated with the Theatre and Dance Department. Founded 40 years ago, it is composed of both majors and non-majors and has a long history of sponsoring workshops, field trips, student-directed productions, monologue festivals and other theatre-related events.
During the 2006-07 school year, APO co-produced two student-directed productions:
April 2007: "Poly Players" mounted a two-hour musical revue of classic Broadway favorites.
June 2007: Theatre Arts major Ryan Cordero's directing senior project was the full-length musical, URINETOWN. Playing to capacity audiences in our laboratory theatre, URINETOWN boasted a large cast of majors and non-majors. |
