Theatre Major Gabbie Koizumi and Dance Minor, Misty Moyle win awards from Cal Poly Arts.
Gabbie received her award for Service to the Arts and Misty received her award for Excellence in Original Work for interpretive dance.
Theatre major Gabbie Koizumi has won the 2013 Young Scholar's Award in the Undergraduate Category for the Southeastern Theatre conference (SETC) with her paper, Living through Lucy: An Analysis of "Lucy Long" and the Song's Social Implications in Antebellum America, which she wrote for TH 320: Black Theatre class Spring quarter 2012.
