The Cal Poly Technical Communications Program is always undergoing revision of one kind or another to keep pace with changes in the field.

This year we updated the names and changed the numbers of some of our courses to better reflect the new material we now cover in these classes. We have also added a new course to the core: ENGL 210 New Media Technology.

ENGL 318 and ENGL 518 have been replaced by ENGL 420 Client Based Technical Communication. ENGL 420 is now the final core course students take before entering into the Work Experience component of the program.

The web design instruction in ENGL 519 has been integrated into ENGL 411 and ENGL 412.

In Brief:

ENGL 318 and ENGL 518 have been eliminated and are replaced by ENGL 420.

ENGL 519 has been eliminated and is replaced by ENGL 411 and ENGL 412.
