Research Interests:

Dr. Keese's research interests include small-holder agriculture, non-governmental organizations, and sustainable development in Latin America. He has spent three years in Latin America and has traveled to thirteen countries in the region (including, Ecuador, Bolivia, Brazil, Mexico, Guatemala, and Cuba). He is especially interested in the economic and cultural issues that link California with Latin America.
