Research Interests:

Professor Bohr's research interests lie in the area of synoptic climatology, global change, and extreme weather events. His dissertation research focused on trends in extreme daily surface temperatures in the south-central United States over the latter half of the Twentieth Century. Current research projects are furthering this analysis, as well as examining the relationships between extreme weather events in the U.S. and large-scale teleconnection patterns such as the Pacific Decadal Oscillation (PDO) and the El-Nino/Southern Oscillation (ENSO).
