Vietnamese Language Table Now Open
The Vietnamese Language Table will meet every Friday from 11:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in Kennedy Library (No. 35, Rm. 220A) beginning Friday, Sept. 23. Prior knowledge
of Vietnamese is not required. Contact Margaret Bodemer at mbodemer@calpoly.edu  with questions.

Register Now for Fall 2016 ‘UndocuAlly’ Training Sessions
“UndocuAlly” is a three-part training series that is designed to build campus capacity to support undocumented students. It is offered by the Undocumented Student
Working Group. Faculty, staff, administration and students are welcome. Learn more. 


2016-17 Dance Company Auditions

Auditions for the 2016-17 Orchesis Dance Company will be held at 6:10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29 in the Cal Poly Dance Studio in Crandall Gym (Bldg. 60, Rm. 6).
There will be a mandatory informational meeting at 6:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27 in the same location. Students must attend this meeting prior to auditioning. For more information, contact Orchesis director Christy Chand at

Writing and Rhetoric Center Fall Hours
The Writing and Rhetoric Center will be open from Sunday, Oct. 2 – Wednesday, Dec. 14 for consultations. Students can book thirty-minute or one-hour appointments
online, or they can walk in to meet with a tutor. Click here to see the

Let students know they can get free, high-quality work clothes to create a memorable first impression at career fairs and interviews. Students will have the opportunity to work with a “personal shopper,” who will help them select clothing to try on. The event is first come, first served.

Cross Cultural Center Fall Social

4 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28
Rec Center (No. 43), ASI Rec. Pool

Join the Cross Cultural Centers (MultiCultural, Pride and Gender Equity Centers) for their yearly kickoff. Meet the coordinators and connect with members while learning about the new programs and services offered at these centers. BBQ and beverages will be provided. The first attendees will receive a free CCC towel.

Listen to student representatives from the CLA Student Diversity and Inclusivity Committee, socialize with other students and connect with key CLA administrators, faculty and staff while enjoying some tasty ice cream.
