Cal Poly to Host California Wind Band Festival March 2–5

Bands from California, Washington, D.C., and Japan will participate in the California Wind Band Festival, a four-day series of performances — all starting at 8 p.m. — Wednesday
through Saturday, March 2–5, in Harman Hall in the Performing Arts Center at Cal Poly.

24th District Congressional Debate

Candidates seeking to represent the Central Coast in the U.S. Congress will discuss their priorities and the major issues facing local constituents and the nation in a debate from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, in Spanos Theatre at Cal Poly. The debate will be moderated by Randol White of KCBX FM. All seats are claimed, but the debate will be broadcast live on MustangNews.net and on Charter Channel 2.

2016 Panetta Institute Congressional Internship Program 

Applications are now being accepted for the 2016 Panetta Institute Congressional Internship Program. Now in its 18th year, this prestigious program is designed to encourage and develop future leaders as well as prepare individuals for greater civic involvement.
