The Forum
Welcome
We are a professional society whose mission is to promote the study of history through the encouragement of research, good teaching, publication and the exchange of learning and ideas among historians.
We seek to bring students, teachers and writers of history together for intellectual and social exchanges, which promote and assist historical research and publication by our members in a variety of ways.
Our Chapter
Our chapter at Cal Poly is now beginning its second year and we are excited to be planning a number of events for students interested in history.
Membership
To become a member please fill out the application, which is available in the History Department office.
Undergraduate members are required to have a 3.3 GPA in at least 16 units of history with a 3.1 GPA overall.
Membership for graduate students requires a 3.5 GPA in at least 16 units of history. Non-majors who meet these requirements are welcome.
