To complete an Ethnic Studies Major, you must complete the 36 units of Required Courses (listed below) and 40 units of Advisor-Approved Electives (in addition to your general education requirements, support courses, and open electives).
- The first 20 units of Advisor-Approved Electives must be from courses offered by the Ethnic Studies Department.
- The other 20 units of Advisor-Approved Electives can be chosen from Ethnic Studies-related courses offered in other departments.
