This fall the Ethnic Studies Department is extremely pleased to announce the addition of two new tenure track faculty to its ranks, Dr. Jane L. Lehr and Dr. Grace Yeh. Dr. Lehr, a joint appointment between Ethnic Studies and Women’s Studies, comes to us via Virginia Tech (click here). Dr. Yeh comes to us from UCLA (click here).
Fall 2007 also marks the arrival of the first newly admitted freshman class in Comparative Ethnic Studies. These events, combined with the excitement and passion of our already existing majors, suggest that the program is off to a great new year. Stay tuned!
