Ron Den Otter, Professor in Political Science named 2010-11 Outstanding Faculty Advisor.
Ron Den Otter, associate professor, Political Science has been named Cal Poly's 2010-11 Outstanding Faculty Advisor. Den Otter advises the undergraduate Law Association (ULA). 
The Outstanding Faculty Advisor Award, developed by the Academic Advising Counsil in 2001-02, recognizes a faculty member who has had a positive influence on students through academic advising. Den Otter will receives a cash stipend and will be recognized by President Armstrong at Fall Conference, in addition to having his name posted on a perpetual plaque in the Kennedy Library.
Den Otter has been in the Political Science Department since 2005 and is the annual chair of the Cal Poly Constitution Day Celebration.
